Full name Nathan Benjamin Ake but commonly known as Nathan Ake. He is a Dutch professional footballer. He plays as a defender (centre-back) for the Netherlands national football team and the English professional football club or Premier League club Manchester City. Although this footballer mainly plays as centre-back but he can also play as a left-back.
This Dutch defender made his professional career debut for the English professional football club Chelsea FC on 26 December 2012 against Norwich City, coming on as a substitute for Juan Mata. On 27 February 2013, he made his first start for the club against Championship team Middlesbrough in the FA Cup.
Nathan made his UEFA Champions League debut against Maribor on 21 October 2014. In addition, he made his international career debut for the Netherlands national team in 2017 in a friendly match against the Morocco national team.
This brilliant footballer scored his first international goal for his team in a friendly match on 4 June 2018 against the Italy national team.
