Full name Mariano Diaz Mejia but commonly known as Mariano Diaz. He is a Spanish-Dominican professional footballer. He plays as a forward/ striker for the Spanish professional football club La Liga club Real Madrid CF.
This Dominican forward made his professional debut for the Catalonia professional football club Badalona on 21 August 2011 against CD Teruel, replacing Inaki Goikoetxea for the final 21 minutes in the Segunda Division B session.
In addition, he made his international career debut for the Dominican Republic national team on 24 March 2013 in a friendly match against the Haiti national team. He played only one international match for this team and in that match, he scored his first and only international goal.
