He played as a forward for the Uruguay national football team. This Uruguayan famous footballer also played for several greatest professional football clubs such as Independiente, Manchester United, Villarreal, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Internacional, Cerezo Osaka, Penarol, Mumbai City, and Kitchee.
